Match 1433 Mighty Morphin Power Rangers vs. Godzilla

It was a typical day in Angel Grove and the Ranger kids were doing what they do best.  Jason was busy polishing his ego, teaching martial arts to kids in the park; Zach was busting moves next to a jukebox with some girls who were dying to get away from there;  Billy was trying to come to terms with his feelings for Trini (who was losing her patience at his inability to just plain ask her out; and finally Kimberly was filling in yet another page in her diary about how much she likes Tommy.

 

Suddenly, the familar dut-dut-doodud-dut-dut, came out of their Morphin Devices, and each ranger dropped what they were doing and hauled booty to HQ.  THere Zordon explained that they had just received word that some strange menace is threatening the nation of Japan (Trini is annoyed when they all look at her and reminds them that she's CHINESE). 

 

They are teleported to a small coastal town and witness masses of people running in their direction screaming "GODZILLA!".  Not realizing what's going on, they are soon knocked down by a loud tremor as the ground shakes beneath them.  From the shadows of ruined buildings emerges a gargantuan reptilian monster, with large claws, massive teeth and a seemingly foul mood.

 

Jason, Mr. Leader, sucks it in and promptly yells the all to well known phrase:

 

"It's Morphin Time".

 

Godzilla snorts and wonders what these tiny gumdrops will taste like.

If the Power Ranger's have the Green Ranger, then it is all over for Godzilla. The Mega-Dragonzord, or Dragonzord in Battle mode would take out Godzilla. But if neither one was enough, then they'd make the Ultrazord and wipe the floor with ol' Godzilla.

OH, i love seeing matches where the Power Rangers get their ass handed to them, then fried by atomic rays, then eaten. Oh, if you haven't guessed, Godzilla all the way, no question about it.

But thats the thing! While their busy posing, Godzilla will stomp them all flat and will walk away without even knowing they were there.

I don't know how acute your memories are of the show, but the Ranger's durability is almost cartoonish. They can take obscene amounts of damage without even being forced to depower. I can't think of anything in Godzilla's arsenal that would put them or their Zords down permanently.

Nice set up. Very entertaining.

 

As for the match, I want Godzilla to win so bad, but the Rangers face godzilla-type monsters on a daily basis.

I think they'll take it (after destroying the city).
