Match 1305 Selene and Buffy the Vampire Slayer vs. Blade and Gabriel Van Helsing vs. Bloodrayne and Abigail Whistler

THE WAR

 

 

When the invasion came, it came without warning. They burst forth from the shadows and thousands died in those first few hours. They were an army, wielding ancient weapons of death and destruction and their blood-lust was insatiable.

 

 

It was a nightmarish plan that had been brewing for centuries, as they built up their numbers and armed themselves for the invasion.

 

 

They were the Vampires and humanity would crumble before them.

 

 

They had coordinated their plan to cause utmost confusion, terror and chaos when the war began. The leaders of the world's greatest nations were the first to be targeted as presidents, prime ministers and royal figureheads were cut down with no mercy.

 

Then came the secret services and army generals, anyone who could coordinate the countries defences efficiently.

 

And finally were the military buildings. Anything that housed powerful weapons, usually hidden from the general population. On that fateful night, huge buildings burnt bright in the dark.

 

Man tried to rally, as news of the attacks spread. Race and religion was forgotten as people fought for their lives against the Vampires and in the longest night of humanity's history, heroes were born.

 

 

The attack was fought on five fronts: America, Europe, Africa, Middle East and Asia. No one knew the exact number of Vampires, but it was clear that they were more than just an invading army. No, they were a nation, and every human they killed, rose himself a creature of the night.

In a secret bunker in the desert and surrounded by countless soldiers and hi-tech weaponry sat the survivors of the world leaders. They were those that hadn't been deemed important or smart enough to coordinate any resistance to the invasion.

 

 

They were the final twelve and they held the fate of humanity in their hands.

 

 

"The best form of defence is attack." said the leader of the UMS, a very secret and very deadly organisation code-named the United Muslim States. They had been organising strikes around the world and had been funding terrorist organisations for years, but they had put aside their prejudice and fanaticism as they had seen their mosques turned to rubble and their worshippers rising from the dead to feast on the living.

 

"And do you propose we do that?" asked a tall lanky man wearing reflective sunglasses. He was the head of C.I.A and the F.B.I. Not officially of course, those men had already been killed, but to all intents and purposes he was the head of the greatest information network in the world. "We don't know where their headquarters are, we don't know who is coordinating their attacks and the only forces that we can contact from here are already fighting for their lives."

 

 

"Actually, there is one group of people that we have managed to contact and who I believe would be of great help." said another tall thin man, with a pointed nose and sharp eyes. He was the only official surviving leader of a known organisation, and undoubtedly one of the greatest in the world. He was head of the Mossad., the Israeli intelligence agency and the equivalent of the American CIA or the British Secret Service. The equivalent maybe, but with a ruthlessness that no other agency possessed. This man had actually been attacked by the Vampires, but him and his crew had managed to fight their way to freedom.

 

 

"Who?" replied the American, looking at the Israeli with undisguised distrust.

 

"The Vampire Hunters."

 

 

"Who? They are legends. Myths."

 

 

The Israeli raised an eyebrow. "Just as Vampires are no doubt."

 

 

"And how can we contact them?" asked the American, narrowing his eyes.

 

 

"There is no need, they are already here." If the Israeli was feeling triumphant, he hid it well behind his emotionless gaze.

 

 

"Here??" shouted the American standing up, "How can they be here?"

 

 

A voiced piped up from the corner of the room.

 

 

"Don't you worry how we got here, just tell us how to solve this mess." A tall, muscular black man stepped forward, bristling with weapons and with eyes that glinted like steel.

 

 

"Oh my god, you brought Vampires Hunters here?!"

 

 

A beautiful woman, also bristling with deadly looking guns stepped out of the shadows as well. "We're here to help." she said plainly, then smiled. The black man also smiled and the American noticed that both had sharp fangs.

 

 

"Oh god.... you brought Vampires here."

After everyone had calmed down and the various leaders were sat again around their table, a young man stood up and cleared his throat.

 

 

He was an unusual looking man, slim yet muscular and with no describable features. He was in fact of Indian and Chinese descent and before the world had gone to hell, had been an ambassador from India to China. Not always an easy job, but his sharp mind and keen intellect had got him far in both super-powers and he commanded the respect of everyone in the room.

 

 

"Actually, I think that we have something that may help. The Vampires have expanded at five central points of the world, Europe, America, Africa, the Middle East and Asia, but they seem to have come from only three places that we have triangulated on this map."

 

 

He pressed a button on a remote control and a map popped up on one of the room's many screens.

 

 

"As you can see," he continued, "the three red blips on the map represent the largest concentrations of Vampires, and the location that they all came from. We believe that it is there that the attacks on humanity are coordinated and it is there that we must strike."

 

 

It was the Israeli's turn to speak and he waved forward the Vampire Hunters each in turn.

 

"We can get you to these locations quickly, and we can provide you with an armed escort of a hundred men each. There are six of you so you will split into teams of two and attack each of these locations at the same time so that they are unable to warn each other. Unfortunately we can't give you any information about the drop zone as that may remove the element of surprise. Are there any questions?"

 

 

"Yeah" growled the black man, "why haven't we started moving yet?"

SUMMARY:

 

 

Team 1: Selene and Buffy + 100 soldiers

 

Team 2: Blade and Van Helsing +100 soldiers

 

Team 3: Bloodrayne and Abigail Whistler + 100 soldiers

 

All soldiers are armed with weapons designed to kill vampires and the Vampire Hunters have their usual full arsenal.

 

 

Each attack a fortified castle full of Vampires (approximately 850 in each including some Ancient Ones - old an about 5 times as powerful as normal).

 

Votes go to whichever team you think will do the most damage and eliminate the most Vampires in the shortest time possible.

Personally I hate to sound sexist but Blade and Gab teaming up is by far the best team. In fact the only way to be better would be Bloodrayne and Blade! Still keep em coming!

I think that Buffy and Selene have the best chance here as Buffy is probably the best close range fighter (Rayne MIGHT be but that is totally up for debate) and Selene is the best Long range fighter... Either way I don't give the guys much of a chance.

Nope. I think that Blade is the weakest of the group and that his savior is Gabriel and that Gabe isn't that great either. Blade is way overrated and to much of a thug with little actual skill. Buffy is far stronger both Physically and mentally and she has the training and skill of generations of Vampire slayers along with psionic abilities that give her an edge in understanding the supernatural. Whistler, Blades trainer is an old redneck who has only been fighting and training for his lifetime whereas Giles the guy who trains Buffy has the training of generations of watchers and he is skilled at magic.Plus Buffy takes on Vamps far stronger than what any of the others are used to and she fights fricking DEMONS and keeps up with or is stronger than most of them, Not just one type either and she does so EVERY night. Do I think Blade would "Pimpslap" Buffy... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! No! I'll give him props on being kinda strong and skilled but Blade is outclassed at every turn by the Buffster and he LOSES hardcore... For the record I voted for Rayne and Abigail though... Blade has the strength required in this mission. Van Helsing has both the strength AND the skill to still stand at the end of the night. Whatever defects one would expect from Blade, Van Helsings vast experience would be enough to balance it out. Also as to the "Demon" thing, their not fighting Demons. Their fighting VAMPIRES people! Bloodsuckers! Vamps! If I put my money on a team, it would go to the original vampire hunter and his brutish sidekick.

Whoa have people not seen the Blade movies? To say Blade is weak is crazy, I mean did they not see how crazy Blade was killing Vampires between the first two movies? Selene is like the female Blade and Buffy is good too.

Yes I've seen the movies and he isn't that powerful, he just has a lot of fancy equipment. Not impressed.
