Match 22940 Beast Man vs. Blanka

The jungle had gone strangely quiet.

Blanka crouched low among the tangled roots, his white fur nearly disappearing against the pale mist that hung between the trees. His fingers flexed against the earth as he listened.
Something was coming and it wasn’t an anima, the tread far too heavy.

A branch snapped.

Then another.

Blanka slowly rose.

Across the clearing, a massive figure stepped from the foliage. He was covered in brown fur, and his stature was slightly hunched over as he growled, his eyes meeting Blanka’s. 
The savage warrior stopped when he spotted the white-furred fighter. His yellow eyes narrowed, his muscles tensing beneath his fur. Blanka's posture changed immediately. His shoulders dropped, his hands curling into fists.

No banter was exchanged, they simply stared.

Beastman took one deliberate step forward, Blanka answered with a step of his own as the distance between them shrank.Neither backing down. 

Beastman rolled his shoulders and flexed his claws. Blanka shook his arms loose, his expression shifting into a fierce grin.
The jungle suddenly seemed very, very small. Beastman lowered himself into a fighting stance.

Blanka did the same.

For one tense moment, neither moved.

There was no announcer, no ringside bell, no clear signal it was time to act. There was but a twitch in muscles and the two threw themselves upon each other.

Thank you @Boratz for your recent Beast vs Beastman match it reminded me that I had this one in mind. 

 

Anyways short and simple, I'm on orders now and finding writing time is hard, I don't want to fall into the AI reliance trap. Most my creative energies are devoted to my original characters and settings.

No, I agree with leroy. We don't know exactly how Blanka stacks up to the Street Fighters because I can't recall any canon victories or losses, but I will say he spends a lot of time with Sakura and Dan and isn't even necessarily presented as the strongest one in that trio.
