Venom 2009 Posted September 1 Read Aloud Posted September 1 Shark Week: Part 10 The Unforeseen Simulation Joint: Ripster was fighting the White Shark in the Flood Zone. The monstrous shark tried to use its claws to slice at the Street Shark. But Ripster was able to grab the creature by its wrist. The White Shark tried to break free, but the blue fish’s grip was too strong. “I hate to do this, but it’s the only way to put you down.” Ripster said. The White Shark’s eyes went wide as Ripster opened his big mouth. With one powerful chomp, Ripster bit off the creature’s head. The headless corpse of the monster fell to the ground, with blood gushing out of the stump of the neck. Ripster felt sick as the creature's head was putting a bad taste in his mouth. The Street Shark spat- out the White Shark's head into the lake. “Yuck, I may be a shark, but seafood isn’t my favorite.” He spoke. “That son of a bottom feeder!” Slippery Shark yelled enraged at Ripster’s victory. “I wanted that monster to turn him into chum!” “What was that, flathead?!” Jab yelled. Slippery Shark found himself surrounded by Streex, Jab, and Big Slammu. “Now that the tuna casserole is gone, we can finish our match.” Streex said. “Yeah, about that.” Tom said through a speaker. Crow and Tom were sitting inside the announcer booth, that was located in the Mountain Zone. “Since the White Shark interrupted your match, it will have to end in a draw.” Crow said. “So, what does that mean?” Big Slammu asked. “Well, bad news is, no one won.” Tom said. “But the good news is, all five of you will remain in the tournament.” Crow said. “Ah! Hear that! I get to stay in the tournament, and I didn’t have to beat you!” Slippery Shark laughed at the four brothers. “We’re still in this tournament too.” Ripster said. “Yeah, so, you better hope you don’t get put in another match with us.” Big Slammu said. “Is that so? The next time we fight, I will be the apex predator.” Slippery Shark said. “Hey, guys, not to be rude, but can you leave the Flood Zone? We need to get the next match started.” Crow said. “And can you do something with the White Shark? Put it in the trash or something?” Tom asked. “Ok, fine.” Ripster said, as he grabbed the leg of the corpse. The five sharks began to leave the area, with Slippery Shark keeping a distance from the Street Sharks. “So, what is our next match?” Tom asked. “It’s going to be an anime fight.” Crow said. “Oh, boy! Anime! Love the stuff! So, who’s fighting?!” Tom yelled with joy. “Jinbe from One Piece will be fighting Kisame Hoshigaki from Naruto.” Crow said. Tom looked very disappointed. “I never watch One Piece or Naruto.” “Neither have I. But Jinbe and Kisame are shark theme characters. So, they are allowed to be in the tournament.” Crow said. “Well, I see two people have entered the Flood Zone. Only one guy looks like a shark, but the other guy looks like a balloon.” Tom said, perplexed. “Well, Jinbe is a whale shark.” Crow said. The two shark men were having a standoff. Jinbe bows slightly, fists raised in Fish-Man Karate stance. "You carry the stench of blood across your blade, swordsman. I am Jinbe, knight of the sea, and helmsman of the Straw Hat Pirates. Sheathe that hungry weapon, or I shall teach you that true sharks do not prey upon the weak. They protect the current." Kisame grinned wide, exposing his shark-like teeth. "Heh... 'knight of the sea'? What a joke. I'm Kisame Hoshigaki, the tailless titanic beast, and Samehada here is starving. You smell like some ancient, noble fool clinging to outdated ideals. Let's see if your 'honor' can fill my sword's belly, fish-man!" He said, as he held up his weapon. "So... you have abandoned your humanity to become a rabid beast, that only knows consumption. How tragic." Jinbe said. "Abandoned? I’ve evolved. No bonds, no dreams, just the pure freedom of the predator. Don't disappoint me by holding back, 'knight'. I want to see if a fish-man's blood tastes different from a human's." Kisame said. “Any idea what they are talking about?” Tom asked. “Nope. Let’s just watch them fight.” Crow said. -------- So, here is a new match for my Shark Week arc. I hope everyone will enjoy this fight. Who will win? Quote
