In the case of mecha, realize that the pilot is still inside basically shrunk down so there’s a little man inside the robot that can be dealt with to win the match. If the pilot can’t control his machine he looses. Unless stated specifically to the contrary, all characters are ‘in character’. Good guys will try to subdue or knock out or whatever. Those who are willing to kill if the challenge pushes them there will. Subdue or incapacitated means that a character losses if they are unable to fight for lets say a ten count like in boxing. So healing factors and reincarnating and stuff won’t matter if enough damage is done for a ten count. Everyone is at base power level. They have standard equipment that they would normally have access to. For those with extensive arsenals, just assume they have the tools they need to get the job done if it’s something they would have if they knew what they were getting into. Quote
