His shadows stretched farther than ever before, slipping between dimensions like cracks in a broken mirror. Pitch followed the pull, curious—and hungry. On the other side of the breach lay a universe steeped in magic, where the balance between good and evil was a living force. And at its center, the Source stirred. The ancient power that governed all demonic forces felt an intrusion, a foreign darkness that did not obey its laws. The Source had consumed countless evils over millennia, but this one was different: it was not a demon, not a spirit, not even a creature. It was fear itself, weaponized and sentient. Pitch materialized in the Underworld, shadows curling around him like living serpents. The Source manifested in its blazing, volcanic form, the air warping under its sheer malevolence. Two primordial beings—one born from nightmares, the other from the origin of all demonic power—regarded each other with cold interest. Pitch smiled, his voice a whisper that echoed like a child’s whimper in the dark. “Such fear here… such delicious potential.” The Source’s reply rumbled through the caverns, ancient and absolute. “You trespass in my domain. All evil begins with me. Even yours.” Darkness met dominion. Nightmare met origin. And the universe braced as two embodiments of terror prepared to decide which darkness ruled supreme. Quote
