Hit, the legendary assassin of Universe 6, steps into Mortarion’s path. No sound. No warning. Just a cold, professional stare. He senses something he has never encountered — a being whose very existence is a plague, whose soul is a storm of agony and hatred. Mortarion’s rasping voice echoes like a death knell: “Another mortal insect. You reek of time-magic. I will carve the stench from you.” Hit doesn’t flinch. “You’re not from this timeline. And you’re killing it just by standing here.” Mortarion raises Silence, Warp-energy boiling around him. “I am death incarnate.” Hit slides one foot back, his aura tightening, his body phasing subtly as he prepares to skip through fractions of a second. “Good. I specialize in killing things that think they can’t die.” The fog thickens. The ground decays. Time fractures. Two reapers — one of plague, one of precision — face each other.
