the War Crimes Trial of Darth Vader.

Okay one of my Favorite Star Wars based Fanfictions. gave Darth Vader a war crimes Trial if he would have Survived the events of Return of the Jedi.

here's the list of crimes the Rebel Alliance/ New Republic can't charge him with. in the Fanfic the deaths of the Jawa tribe were not Darth Vader's work neither were the deaths Luke's aunt and uncle. this was revealed to be the work of Palpatine countermanding Darht Vader's Orders that the Larrs family was to be left alone and not to be killed under any circumstance. the deaths of Leia's parents and the people of Alderaan were not his fault he never gave the order or pulled the Trigger when the Death Star destroyed Alderaan.  from the Solo movie we know that Darth Vader was not responsible for the deaths of Han Solos family or Lando Calrisians family. his forces did enslave Chewbacca's species the wookiees and the noghri and who knows how many other alien species despite him once being a Slave. Darth Vader once did Blast R2-D2 and C-3P0 at one point during the original movies. he did wipe out a tribe of Tuscan Sand raider people. he and Palpatine together along with the Jango Fett Clone Stormtroopers, killed the Entire Jedi order and the Confederate separatist council. he killed his own wife and his best friend Obi Wan Kenobi. whenever he encountered Luke or Leia or Han in the Originals he almost always says bring those rebels to me alive, stun them if you have to but don't Kill them. he also Force choked the officers of the Death Star's Command crew and two officers in his fleet in Empire Strikes back. Admiral Ozzel and Captain Needa. he was under orders from the Emperor himself to never use this ability on any officers with the word Grand in their title. whether it be Grand Moff, Grand Admiral or Grand General. he did blast A lot of fighter pilots that were part of Luke's escort team such as Biggs and Dack. so, what would the verdict be once the whole galaxy learned he was the Father of Luke Skylwaker and Leia Organa Solo. would he be Pardoned of his crimes or would be given the Death Penalty? in the novels of the expanded universe the only person the rebeles actually did issue and carry out a death penalty for war crimes was the guy who built the Empires whole arsenal of Super Weapons. Bevel Lemelisk. and this was actually the 8th and final time he died. every time a weapon he built backfired he would be executed by the emperor and resurrected in a clone body over and over again.
