Guest Utah Napoleon Dynamite Posted May 8 Read Aloud Posted May 8 okay i have gone to Anchorage Alaska's arctic comic con i got to meet Billy the Blue original power ranger. he was nice and signed an autograph, I met Dean Cain who played Superman on Lois and Clarke. I asked him does he remember the episode where he had to fight bad guys from Krypton and the only way to defeat them would weaken injure or for the military to use Kryptonite Gas and if the soldiers missed they could weaken, injure or kill Superman as well as the bad guy kryptonians. he said oh yes he remembered that very well. i also got to meet Vicki Gerrero from Wrestlemania she was much nicer in person then she was on the show as General manager. I found out there are a few rules at comic con. number 1 no debates on the convention floor about which character can beat up who. number 2 don't ask the celebrity guests about their personal lives they have taken time out of their busy schedules to be here and also to the guest stars the cosplayer fans are strangers to them all they know about the fans is they like the actor or actres's work. 3 all cosplay outfits have to be PG-13 because there are kids in the audience. if any cosplayers dress as a ninja, samurai, a super soldier or any other faction from the Deadliest Warrior TV show please make sure your weapons are marked as stage props and are not real weapons. i also met Rikishi. met the actress who played Susan Ivanova and asked her what would happen if Babylon 5 were to cross paths with Battlestar Galactica . the battle star fleet could use the B5 station to refuel rearm their weapons and get some badly needed medical supplies . in the mean time Susan Ivanova could be dating Admiral Adama who leads the Battlestar fleet. she said she would be all for that if the writers could produce a decent script! I have met lots of actors, actresses and cosplayer characters so far i have made only one buddy who cosplayed Kylo Ren while i was cosplaying as Grand Admiral Thrawn. so what do you think and i hope i am not spamming i just wanted to start some conversations and build up a new CBUB Persona. i have been getting tons of therapy and i haven't found any creative outlets to express what i have built upon.
leroypowell3 Posted May 14 Read Aloud Posted May 14 Comicon can be big fun. I went like 30 years ago. Nothing like it is nowadays. Got a family now so personal enjoyment is out the window. This right here is all I got left. Welcome friend.
