The walls pulse faintly, as if the entire structure is breathing. Rows of dormant urns line the floor, each one containing the volatile black pathogen that wiped out the Engineers themselves. A faint blue mist drifts across the ground. This is not a place meant for humans—or Invid. Sera, former Invid Royalty, steps into the chamber with a mixture of caution and curiosity. Her bio-armor glows softly, reacting to the alien environment. She has come here following a strange energy signature—one that resonates with the same evolutionary frequencies as the Invid Regess. Her mission is simple: Determine whether this world’s ancient species poses a threat to the fragile peace she’s trying to build. Her eyes narrow as she senses movement. “This place… it feels alive. And angry.” A towering figure stirs atop a raised platform. Pale, muscular, and impossibly still until the moment he moves. The Engineer rises with slow, deliberate purpose, his obsidian eyes locking onto Sera. He recognizes her immediately—not as a person, but as an anomaly. A bio-engineered being not of his design. A contamination. He descends the steps with silent authority, retrieving a control staff from a recess in the wall. The chamber responds to him: urns shift, lights pulse, the air thickens. He speaks a single guttural phrase in the ancient Engineer tongue—its meaning unmistakable. Eradicate. Sera’s wings flare open, her bio-energy crackling. The Engineer activates his suit, its biomechanical plates sealing around him like living armor. Two beings shaped by evolution and design. Two philosophies of creation. She should be in her Invid mecha. I put a useable picture one upon a time. As for the match, I don't know the Engineer (I always think of The Authority Engineer), so I don't know what he can do. I'll just pretend Sera can get to her mecha and destroy thing being so I can vote for a Robotech character. Quote
