A routine science lesson takes an unexpected turn when The Magic School Bus activates its temporal engines and whirls the class back into the distant past. With a swirl of rainbow light and a puff of enchanted sand, the Bus lands in ancient Agrabah.

Ms. Frizzle steps out in a desert-themed dress decorated with hourglasses, camels, and swirling dunes.
“Class,” she says brightly, “today’s field trip is about historical environments and how civilizations adapt to their surroundings.”

But the past has ears.

Hidden behind a crumbling stone archway, Abis Mal and his band of henchmen are eavesdropping. They hear every word—especially the part where Ms. Frizzle casually mentions that she and her students are from the future.

Abis Mal’s eyes widen.
“A time-traveling chariot… from the future?” he whispers. “Imagine the treasures I could steal! The empires I could conquer! The respect I would finally get!”

He leaps out dramatically, nearly tripping over his own henchman.
“Men! That magical wagon is ours! We’ll take it, and then history itself will bow before Abis Mal!”

His henchmen cheer, though one immediately drops his sword in the sand.

Ms. Frizzle steps calmly between them and the Bus, hands on her hips.
“I’m afraid the Magic School Bus is not for borrowing,” she says warmly. “Especially not for rewriting the timeline.”

The Bus’s headlights narrow like determined eyes. Liz hisses from the dashboard. With a rumble, the Bus shifts into a towering desert-mode—part sphinx, part dune crawler, part time machine—ready to defend its class.

Abis Mal brandishes his scimitar with theatrical flair.
“Sorceress! Hand over the future-carriage or face the might of Abis Mal and his unstoppable crew!”

Ms. Frizzle adjusts her sunhat, utterly unfazed.
“Class,” she says, “this is what we call a historical confrontation.”

Now the stage is set in the sands of Agrabah.

I think this pairing could make for a good and amusing official match that I think Ms. Frizzle could legit win. If she was ever looking for a poster boy to show to her students the importance of education and where you could end up without it, Abis Mal would be the perfect choice.
