undertakersymbiote Posted March 29 Read Aloud Posted March 29 The Master of Masters, the Shogun of Sorrow, Aku, reclined upon his obsidian throne, the jagged fire-shaped rocks of his lair offering no comfort, only the familiar, oppressive chill of eternal darkness. He let out a low, droning sigh that echoed through the desolate halls, a sound of profound boredom and irritation, for the foolish Samurai Jack had once again evaded his grasp, surviving in this wretched future of his own making. "Fifty years," he warped to himself, his fiery red eyebrows flickering with suppressed rage as he stared into the swirling darkness of his remote viewing pool, watching the silent, ruined cities. "This samurai... this pest! He is like a stain I cannot wipe away!" He waved a shadowy hand, the image on the wall shifting from the bleak, metallic cityscape to a different point on the globe—a small, vibrant city bathed in an irritatingly optimistic glow, teeming with life and, more importantly, heroes. A slow, malicious grin spread across his face, his green mouth curling upwards as an idea took shape, a delightful prospect of torment that had nothing to do with the stubborn, white-robed fool. "Townsville," he purred, the name tasting like new chaos on his tongue. "Such a colorful place... it would be a shame if something... evil... were to darken its doorstep." The sky over the desolate future-scape of Townsville wasn’t blue; it was a swirling vortex of bruised purples and sickly greens, a chaotic canvas painted by two insurmountable forces of evil meeting at the exact same point in time. On one side, the towering, amorphous blackness of Aku, the Shogun of Sorrow, solidified into a titanic form, his green mouth curling into a sneer, his red eyebrow-flames flickering with intense fury. Opposite him, HIM hovered effortlessly, his lobster-like claws tapping together, his red dress flouncing in an unseen wind, a chilling, echoing falsetto escaping his black lips. HIM watched with a flickering, ecstatic grin as the amorphous, black-tar form of Aku tore through the Townsville skyline, a rare silent moment passing between the flamboyant demon and the arriving Shogun of Sorrow. HIM's slender lobster-claws clicked together slowly, appreciative of the sheer, raw primordial evil radiating from the newcomer—a refreshing contrast to the Rowdyruff Boys' childish brutality. While others in the city might tremble, HIM felt a chilling sense of kinship, instantly recognizing that this shape-shifting Master of Darkness was not merely a monster, but a kindred embodiment of absolute, unapologetic ruin, instantly pondering whether this visitor would make a fascinating ally to break the Powerpuff Girls, or a competitor to be utterly consumed to enhance his own power. "FOOLISH APPARITION!" Aku’s voice boomed, shaking the ruined skyscrapers around them. "This world—this entire timeline—is mine! I am the Deliverer of Darkness, the Master of Masters! Who dares trespass upon my dominion?" HIM didn't flinch. Instead, his voice shifted from a polite, high-pitched query to a deep, masculine growl before settling into a sinister, echoing lilt. "Trespass? Oh, you silly, tar-covered... thing. I do not trespass. I bring... improvement." HIM stretched his clawed hand, reality warping around it, causing the ruined city to briefly turn into a nightmare landscape of jagged candy canes and screaming flowers. "Your 'dominion' is so dreadfully dull. So much metal, so little... panache. Townsville—my Townsville—needs a more artistic touch of torment." "YOUR TOWNSVILLE?" Aku shrieked, transforming his body into a massive, jagged dragon shape, his claws sharper than steel. "I have ruled this Earth for centuries, you gaudily dressed fool! I am the black plague that ended the dinosaur age! You are nothing but a minor demon who struggles with three little girls!" HIM let out a sharp, hysterical giggle that echoed far louder than Aku’s roar. His rosy cheeks seemed to glow hotter. "Ah, but I resurrected my minions, darling. I manipulated time. And you? You are beaten daily by a samurai with a sword. Such a repetitive... bore." Aku’s eyes blazed red. He liquefied his massive form, stretching it out to loom over HIM, his voice dripping with pure, viscous menace. "That fool samurai wields the blessing of gods! You... you are just theatrics." Aku’s hand reformed, shooting fire, the flames encircling HIM. "I will make you a permanent stain on this barren earth." HIM simply absorbed the fire, his grin widening, showing teeth like white needles. He summoned his own dark energy, the red glow of his power clashing with Aku’s darkness. The air between them crackled with reality-bending sorcery. "Then come, oh Master of... whatever this dreary place is," HIM whispered, his voice returning to a menacingly soft falsetto. "Let us see if you can handle… TRUE EVIL." Both demons prepared for battle. Aku morphed into a multi-headed serpent, his fangs dripping venom, while HIM expanded into his giant, muscled red demon form, his claws transforming into towering black steel pillars. Who wins? The flamboyant Reality Warper, or the shapeshifting Master of Darkness?

SSJRuss Posted Wednesday at 01:57 PM Read Aloud Posted Wednesday at 01:57 PM Sad that I missed this one. Honestly, this could be the throwdown of the century. I'd want Him to win, but Aku is more cunning and probably deserves the win here. He's such a bastard and trickster that I think he'd get the jump on Him.
