But the moment Gabriel’s boots touch this world, Osebo feels it—a presence ancient and cold, something that doesn’t fear him the way most prey does. Intrigued, he stalks toward the disturbance, tail lashing with anticipation. Gabriel meets him in the heart of an abandoned industrial district, moonlight cutting through the dust like silver blades. The two lock eyes: one a disciplined warrior forged by tragedy, the other a wild, unpredictable predator who thrives on chaos. Osebo grins, fangs glinting. “New hunter in my territory,” he purrs. “Let’s see if you can keep up.” Gabriel uncoils the Combat Cross, its chain rattling like a warning bell. “I have faced beasts far greater than you,” he says, voice low and steady. “But if you seek a monster… I can oblige.”
