For Dillon, the Black RPM Ranger, this was just another day of searching for his past in the dirt. He had followed a strange energy reading—one that didn't match Venjix’s mechanical signature—to the ruins of an old mountain monastery. Inside the crumbling stone walls, he didn't find answers about his sister. He found a woman in red robes, sitting in a meditative trance amidst a circle of scorched earth. P'Li opened her eyes. She wasn't in the Earth Kingdom anymore. This world smelled of burnt oil and cold metal, and the man standing before her—half-human, half-machine—felt like a walking prison. To a member of the Red Lotus, there was no greater sin than a soul bound by shackles, even cybernetic ones. "This world is a graveyard of order," P'Li said, her voice like the hiss of a dying ember. She stood up, the third eye on her forehead beginning to glow with a dull, dangerous light. "You are just another piece of the machine. I will grant you the freedom of the flame." Dillon didn't flinch. He just adjusted his leather jacket and tapped the Morpher on his wrist. "Look, lady, I’ve had a really long day, and 'freedom' usually involves someone trying to blow me up. If you're looking for a fight, you picked the wrong drifter." "I am not looking for a fight," P'Li countered, her breath hitching as she prepared her first strike. "I am looking to burn the world down to its foundations." Dillon’s eyes went cold. He’d seen a world burned down already. "Not on my watch."
