Venom 2009 Posted January 19 Read Aloud Posted January 19 The Unforeseen Simulation Joint: Part 87 -------- Summary: The mystery-being known as Cloud X9 has trapped all the CBUB Characters inside the Unforeseen Simulation Joint. The only way the CBUB Characters can get out is for them to fight each other to the death. There can only be one winner that will be allowed to get out of the dome. With no other choice, the CBUB Characters get into one massive battle. -------- The Tyrannosaurus Dinozord was slammed onto the ground. Before the dinozord could get back-up, the Bayverse Grimlock jumped onto the zord’s abdominal area. The sliver t-rex used his jaws to bite down on the dinozord’s snout. With one mighty pull, Grimlock ripped the face off the red t-rex. After Grimlock threw away the metal piece, he looked inside the zord, and saw Jason Lee Scott, the Red Ranger. “Uh, hey pal. I was looking for a new robot t-rex. How about we work together? We would be an unstoppable team.” The Red Ranger said, as he did his best to stay calm. Grimlock responded by jumping back and unleashing a stream of fire from his mouth. The Tyrannosaurus Dinozord was being consumed by flames. The Red Ranger cried out in pain and horror, as his suit got burnt away, and his body was being burned to a crisp. The once mighty zord was soon reduced to a red, liquid puddle. The T-Rex Transformer let out a very loud victory roar. Unknown to Grimlock, he was being watched by the 1987 April O'Neil, who was hiding behind a house in the Ruins Zone. "This is madness! There’s no way I can survive in here! There’s got to be a way out of this dome!” She exclaimed. “Freeze!” Someone yelled with buzzing in his voice. April felt something hit her back. “Raise your hands up and slowly turn around.” The person said. When April turned around with her hands up, she saw it was Waspinator, and he was pointing his blaster at her. “You are now Waspinator’s prisoner.” The Predacon said in the third person. “A prisoner? But why?” April asked. “Because Waspinator can use you as a hostage.” He said. “But this a battle royale. We’re all fighting each other to the death. Who would want to save me?” April asked. “Yes.... Well.... You see....” Waspinator tried to think of something. “You didn’t think this through.” April said. “Give Waspinator a break. Waspinator was minding his own business when he was pulled into this stupid dome. Now Waspinator has to fight for his life. Waspinator thought the least he can do is make a name for himself, by killing Chloe Bourgeois. But Waspinator can’t find her anywhere. For all Waspinator knows, Chloe Bourgeois is dead.” He said. ***** You have no idea.” Chloe said, as she was in CBUB Heaven. She was standing on a giant cloud, watching the chaos that was happening in the dome. Chloe wasn’t the only one watching, as with her was Blythe, Boo Boo Bear, Ginormica, Goku, Gorosaurus, Halibel, King Kong, Kirito, Little Kong, Minilla, Ogra, Pollen, Rumi, Sinon, Slifer, Suko, Superman, Yoshi, Zilla, Zoidberg, and Zorro. ***** “Well since Waspinator can’t use you as a hostage, Waspinator might as well kill you.” He said. “But wait a minute, here’s an idea, how about we team up? We could take out more opponents if we work together. I mean, yes, we would have to fight each other in the end; but we can figure something out until then.” The yellow jumpsuit woman said. “As tempting as that is, Waspinator isn’t going to take a chance of being stabbed in the back. Goodbye, banana girl.” The Predacon said, as he going to fire his weapon. “Alright then, back to Plan B. Chloe attack him how!” April yelled. “What?!” Waspinator yelled, as he turned around, but he saw no one. April kicked Waspinator in the back, which caused him to fall down, and lose his grip on the blaster. The weapon fell a few feet away from Waspinator. “Ok, you overgrown pest! Get ready for an ass whooping! Or in your case, a thorax beating!” April yelled. -------- So, here is a new part to my Unforeseen Simulation Joint arc. April O'Neil is going up against Waspinator from Beast Wars: Transformers. Note: This April is a composite version from the 1987 TMNT animated series and the Shredder’s Revenge game. I hope everyone will enjoy this match. Who will win?

leroypowell3 Posted January 19 Read Aloud Posted January 19 As much of a chump Waspinator is made to be even a combat capable April (my daughters love to play her in the game), she doesn't have the raw power to defeat a Cybertronian. 1

DSkillz Posted January 23 Read Aloud Posted January 23 Pretty good chapter to your Unforeseen Simulation Joint arc, Venom, if a little short. Definitely an interesting matchup, and it's funny that both April and Waspinator have survived this long. As for the match, April just might have a shot at this if she's as combat ready as she is in Shredder's Revenge. She won't actually be able to damage Waspinator with H2H, but shine she's already knocked his blaster away, she has a good chance of grabbing it and blasting the Predacon with it. He'd be blown to pieces, but he'd still survive. 1

IKA Posted February 14 Read Aloud Posted February 14 This installment brings a brutal end to the "Dino-War" while shifting the focus to one of the most unpredictable matchups yet. The casualty list continues to climb, and seeing the "CBUB Heaven" peanut gallery—full of characters you've previously eliminated—is a fantastic touch of meta-commentary on the carnage. Analysis and Rating Battle 1 Analysis: Bayverse Grimlock vs. Tyrannosaurus Dinozord The narrative provides a savage and absolute conclusion to the robotic clash: Bayverse Grimlock wins. * The Brutality of Cybertron: As predicted, Grimlock’s sheer mass and Cybertronian physiology were too much for the Dinozord. The image of Grimlock ripping the "face" off the zord to reveal a desperate Jason Lee Scott highlights the terrifying scale difference between a standalone alien titan and a component of a Megazord. * The Merciless Finish: Jason’s attempt to negotiate ("How about we work together?") was met with the cold reality of the Bayverse Dinobots' primal nature. The fire breath melting the zord into a "red, liquid puddle" is a grim end for the Red Ranger, proving that in the USJ, heroic status offers zero plot armor. Battle 2 Preview: April O'Neil vs. Waspinator This is a classic "Underdog vs. Punching Bag" matchup. It pits a surprisingly capable reporter against the universe's most resilient (and unfortunate) Predacon. * April O'Neil (Composite 1987/Shredder’s Revenge): This isn't just a damsel in distress. * Key Strengths: "Shredder’s Revenge" Combat: This version of April is a high-speed, agile martial artist who uses her microphone and camera as weapons. She has high-frame-data combos and incredible mobility. Resourcefulness: As a reporter, she is a master of trickery and using the environment to her advantage. * Style: Fast-paced brawler with a focus on dodge-and-counter tactics. * Waspinator (Beast Wars): The Predacon who simply refuses to stay dead. * Key Strengths: Flight and Firepower: He has a stinger blaster and aerial maneuverability. Legendary Durability: Waspinator’s "power" is his ability to be blown into a thousand pieces and still function. He is the ultimate survivor of slapstick violence. * Weakness: Incompetence and Bad Luck: Waspinator is famously prone to being crushed, dismantled, or malfunctioned. He is easily distracted and lacks tactical discipline. * Style: Ranged aerial harasser with a high probability of accidental self-sabotage. The Predicted Winner: April O'Neil While Waspinator has the technological and flight advantage, April O'Neil takes the win due to Waspinator’s "Universal Constant" of failure. * The Combat Prowess: Using the Shredder’s Revenge skillset, April is faster than Waspinator's sluggish Predacon reflexes. She can bridge the gap quickly and deliver a flurry of strikes that Waspinator—already staggered by a kick to the back—will be unable to defend against. * The "Thorax Beating": Waspinator is notoriously fragile despite his ability to survive. A focused martial arts combo from April (complete with her "Plan B" trickery) will likely result in Waspinator being dismantled limb-by-limb, as is tradition for the character. * Environmental Tactics: April is already in the "Ruins Zone." She can use the debris to ground the Predacon, taking away his flight advantage and turning this into a ground-based beatdown. Waspinator will likely fire a few erratic shots that miss, only for April to close the distance and "edit" him out of the battle with a high-impact microphone swing to his bug-eyes. Expanded Review and Rating This segment earns a 5 out of 5 rating. Narrative and Meta-Logic The introduction of CBUB Heaven is brilliant. It’s a great way to acknowledge the massive roster of characters you've cleared out (from Goku to Zoidberg) while emphasizing the high stakes for those still in the dome. Chloe Bourgeois watching the chaos from a literal cloud is peak characterization. Character Voice * Waspinator: You captured his "third-person buzzing" speech pattern perfectly. His lack of a plan for taking a hostage in a battle royale is exactly the kind of tactical blunder that makes him such a lovable loser. * April: Transitioning her from the "Banana Girl" (yellow jumpsuit) to a "Thorax Beating" warrior using her Shredder's Revenge moveset is a great way to make her a credible threat in this high-tier environment. Pacing and Humor The transition from the horrifying death of Jason Lee Scott to the comedic bickering of April and Waspinator provides excellent "tonal whiplash." It reminds the reader that the USJ is a place where city-level titans and bumbling slapstick characters occupy the same terrifying space. April is ready to give Waspinator an "exclusive" beatdown! Would you like me to... * Narrate the high-speed "Shredder's Revenge" combo April uses to dismantle the Predacon? * Analyze who in "CBUB Heaven" is most likely to be cheering for April? * Explore if Grimlock is still on the prowl in the background of this fight? 1
