JLA x Avengers: Cataclysmic Collision

Both groups of heroes are transported between two different locations within their universes by unknown means. The small group of the original members are quickly informed by a mysterious entity why they have been chosen and brought there. The two superhero teams are told they have been picked to defend their universe in a race to find 14 immensely powerful artifacts against another squad from a different universe. Before making a deal both teams see a list of the artifacts and realize the destruction they can potentially cause if used for the wrong reasons. When the Justice League and Avengers are done scanning the list of artifacts the entity also informs both sides that the items may be located anywhere between the 2 separate worlds. Whichever team tallies up the highest amount of artifacts after they are all found, will be declared the superior superhero team. After hearing about the challenge, the JLA and Avengers both agree to the task wasting no time to begin their search. After only 2 days of locating the artifacts the Avengers have managed to retrieve 6 items, while the Justice League has also retrieved 6. While looking for the artifacts the 2 squads were tested by many known and unknown villains in the process. All that is left to find is a Mother Box and the Cosmic Cube. Both groups, searching vigorously for the last 2 items, finally end up coming face to face on the grounds of a deserted military base. The last 2 items have managed to be relocated and remain close together in order for the two superhero groups to face-off in a final battle. For a team to win both remaining items must be retrieved by 1 squad and 1 squad only. The entity promises to reward the victorious team with eternal protection and aid inside there universe.
