Brandon Sanderson Writing Class

Brandon Sanderson, famous fantasy author is offering a free writing class for the summer here. In the course of the class we'll write like 13K words. I'm gonna take the class and probably write in Khazan for the duration of it. 

 

So I ask 1) Anyone have a clue what I should write about and 

2) Who else wants to join up?

I think it was actually you who suggested writing the fall of the alpha sentinals. You should do that.

 

As for doing it... maybe. Between work and a play I'm in, I may not have the time to do this until August.

I would do Fall of the Alpha sentinels, but I want to do something more contained where I can introduce a single main character and less Martinian( as in George RR) where I have at least seven.

I'm curious if you ever did take up this class. Spending your summer writing 13k words is no easy task.

I tried but then I hit a huge writing rut and I was gonna have this kickass novel which was mostly inspired by Kate Awesome Is Awesome's Wicked Garden but then the novel fell through so no not really but I watched all the lectures they're great.
