The city is crowded, the back allys cramed with mobsters, little the mobsters know that they are about to be mobed by the Batman; or the Comedian.The two both after the same mob.

COMEDIAN: you rats better crawl back to your holes before i get serious, frickin mobsters!

BATMAN: who the hell are you?

COMEDIAN: when did you get involved freak!

BATMAN: coming from the guy with a smiley pin badge, run along now before i get serious.

COMEDIAN: you have just made one hell of a mistake.......DOUCHE!

COMEDIAN: (lights cigar)........lets dance pretty boy. 

Batman and the comedian engage into a blood bath: Comedian arsnal: two 9mm pistols, remmington pump shotgun and hand to hand bone crunching skill. Batmans arsnal: batarangs, grapple-batclaw, explosive gel, the shadows and mix range of martial arts.

IMO Comedian has ZERO impressive feats that put him anywhere on Batman's level.

I personally think The Comedian could win this; depending on his age. During his prime years it was said that he beat Ozymandias, years and years of combat training, and he joined the army in his teen years(giving in brutal instincts and training). Batman is highly skilled, and thus giving Comedian a beating he has never seen before, but in the end Comedian wins.

The Comedian has no ON-PANEL feats. Sorry, butthere is no proof to lead me to believe he could beat one of the most experienced and sucessful peak human's in comic history.

Batman wins it with a moderate amount of effort. Bane nearly cripple batman so no need to rule it out as an absolute beating, but I think Batman's cunning and use of dodged attacks will when it for him.

Batman was exhausted when Bane beat hin. Read the story arc, Batman had been running ragged stopping all the criminals Bane set free. Bane then surprised him at his own home, it certianly wasn't a fair fight.

But Bane only beat Batman after running him ragged by releasing all of the arkham inmates and batman had to round them up. After that Bane attacked an exhausted batman and won

Bats has hundreds of thousands of feats. He's been around since forever, and is the peak of human perfection. Has had several comic series to his name.

 

Comedian's only feats are dying, attacking a helpless mob of citizens, and partcipating in Vietnam war. He's been in one novel, and actually died in the first issue.

 

If we draw things out, an aging Comedian was able to fight Ozy, even for a little while, and that's a feat. At the time, Ozy was a bullet timing mastermind who KOed both Rorscharch & Night Owl. Both of whom have feats themselves.

 

Still, Bats is just the better fighter. Bats ftw.

Now if this is old Comedian then Batman would probably beat him, but it is not said. Comedian is almost a special forces government assassin just read the freakin' novel.

Yes. I have read the Novel twice as well as watched the movie. In the novel it never shows him doing ANYTHING impressive. His feats actually shown in the novel include.

 

1.) Being Killed by Ozzy

2.) Fighting an unarmed mob of citizens

3.) Shooting a poor defenseless woman. And butchering Vietnamese soldiers in Vietnam.

 

Sorry if this leads me to believe he doesn't stack up against one of the greatest peak human's in comic history who has mastered 127 forms of unarmed combat and consistently has beaten metahuman opponents, something Comedian has never shown the ability to do.

 

It may have mentioned he beat Ozzy in his prime but that still doesn't mean much considering it's never shown, the consequences of the fight are not known, and the fact that Batman would beat Ozzy from the novel as well.

I actually feel it's necessary to ask if you have read the Watchman novel because you are trying to portray the Comedian as a far more powerful character than he is in the Novel.
