as strange as it is you would pick them the fantastic 4 they got me started

reading comics i was a huge fan of there 90's animated show and i started reading

comics i mean i think it is cool how 4 heroes who are not stupid powerfull beating the

villians they do in such a beleaveable way.

Definitely Your Friendly Neighborhood SPIDERMAN!!!!!!!! I know he can't produce lightning, or use cosmic powers (Zombie Spiderman can though), or regenerate his body upon will, but he's inspiring. To see a guy that has a whole city hate him, he's in poverty, he and his girl just seem to have life hard, and he's looked down upon by the other heroes, and yet he still keeps going on and on, just makes me feel he's worthy of respect. Stan Lee and Steve Ditko also did an incredible job of showing what life should be like when a heroe's not wearing the mask. Other heroes just seem to have great lives, but Spiderman has probably the crappiest one with no friends, and he'll still stop to go get a balloon that a child accidentaly let go of, or even take on the Hulk When he's out of web to keep casualties low. His Uncle Ben said "With great power comes great responsibility." He isn't as Powerful as Thor, or Ghost Rider, or The Silver Surfer, but when it comes to responsibility he puts them all to shame and elevates to a level that they can only dream of.

Quicksilver. Why?

 

Because he is one of the unluckiest members of the avengers. Was called a terrorist, He and his father have a strained relationship, He had to acknowledge that his sister was insane, His sister apparently died, he lost his powers, went crazy for a while, gained new powers from terrigenesis, was banished from his wife, their marriage was annulled, he had crystals jutting from his chest, then had a recent number of hallucinations, and gained back his speed. After all that, he still can fight on? That is true perseverance.

The X-Men got me reading comics, and then Spider-man, I mean come on the X-Men are hated for what they are and yet they still put their lives on the line to save humanity, and Spider-man a dorky teenager who's first girlfriend was killed and he feels responcible, then he falls for a girl who at first doesn't even know he exists then when they finally get together all hell breaks loose and she fears he will end up dead one of these days, and not to mention his parrents were killed by a megalomaniac, and his uncle who was a father to him was shot by a common criminal and he feels responcible for that to. These are people who have a heavy burden on them and yet still find away to get up each morning and save the world.

Yeah the X-Men are probably my favorite Marvel characters. I always loved the old X-Men cartoon. To me Spiderman was too dorky sometimes and the hulk just broke stuff but the X-men all had different personalities and the stories were always a lot more interesting. Favorite would have to be Wolverine and Nightcrawler though.
